Draft: these terms still need the operator's details (set AUXD_LEGAL_NAME, AUXD_CONTACT_EMAIL and AUXD_LEGAL_ADDRESS) and a lawyer's review before launch.
Terms of Service
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [operator legal name] (“we”, “us”), which runs AUX’D. By signing in you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, Content & DMCA Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old (and old enough to use Discord where you live). If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You sign in with Discord, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure.
2. How matches work
Every player in a match records over the same beat against the same timer, the tracks are rated anonymously, and the AUX Score decides the placements. The match server’s results are final, apart from corrections our moderators make, for example after finding vote rigging.
3. Your tracks
You keep the rights you have in what you record. When you submit a track you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, stream and show it inside AUX’D and in places that promote it (for example the results channel of our Discord server, or a shared profile link). This lasts while the track is on the service; non-winning tracks are deleted after 30 days, and you can delete your account at any time.
You promise that the vocals and lyrics are your own work, that you have the rights to everything in the track apart from the beat we provide, and that it follows the Content Policy.
4. The beats
Beats are licensed to us by their producers for use in matches. Downloading a beat lets you record over it for an AUX’D match. It doesn’t give you the right to release or sell a song made with it unless the producer agrees separately.
5. Fair play
Don’t rate tracks dishonestly, trade votes, play Ranked on more than one account, use another person’s account, or interfere with the service. We may void matches, remove rewards, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. Ranked uses signals such as Discord account age and IP address to keep matches fair.
6. Aura, boosts and cosmetics
Aura is a virtual currency used only inside AUX’D. It has no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and isn’t your property: you get a licence to use it and the items you unlock with it. We may change prices and items, but we won’t take away items you have unlocked unless you break these terms or a purchase is reversed. Paid Aura is covered by the Refund Policy.
7. Conduct
Be decent in chat and in your tracks. Harassment, hate speech, threats, spam and sexual content involving minors are never allowed. You can mute or report anyone, and our moderators review reports.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 3 (for content already shown), 6 and 9–11 continue after your account ends.
9. Disclaimers
AUX’D is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and matches can be interrupted (for example when we update the service; affected matches are voided and nobody loses XP).
10. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Questions: [contact email], [postal address].
